Frau Wirtin runs a modest, small hotel with three stars. She would like to have a fourth star, but for that, she would need to install a television in every room.
Today, Frau Wirtin is very tired because it's the day before Christmas. All the rooms are booked. She has just finished washing a mountain of laundry and then falls into bed, utterly exhausted. But then, this couple knocks on the door. The young woman is pregnant... this night won't be a silent night for Frau Wirtin.
With a lot of humor, Gerti Tröbinger dusts off an ancient story and hangs it on the laundry line, freshly washed and up-to-date.
